Hi, I am Amitabha Dey. Welcome to my Digital Home.

I’m a programmer, a writer, and an avid consumer of pop-culture. I love to learn about the complexities of the world and turn them into simple words. I am an optimistic nihilist.

I want this site to be many things. A digital journal perhaps. I will cross the bridge when I get there. All my content on this site is freely available. I am obsessed with building systems and do quirky stuff all the time.  By the time I am done with life, I will have uploaded myself. I am not dying, folks.

Get in touch for work or if anything here sparks your interests.

Writing helps me think clearly. I am trying to make sense of the world one article at a time.

I roll out a weekly newsletter packed with amazing resources and articles I’ve read all week.

I make programming tutorials as a small token of appreciation for the amazing dev community.

I occasionally do commentaries turned rants to spitball ideas. Some of it makes sense. Most don’t.

I amuse myself with amateurish photography when, out of the blue, I get to go somewhere nice.

Music is said to enhance productivity. I created separate playlists for each of my moods.

Making something worth countless hours of binge-watching tv-shows and documentaries.

For years, I have been collecting interior designs for inspiration. Eventually, it turned into this.

I am always following tech setup videos on YouTube and making mental notes for my own setup.

A Notion-based directory of 200+ free resources I’ve compiled over several years of working and building products.

Books I am reading this year. Also adding notes as I read them which are mostly snippets.

Archived conversations and talks that have inspired me immensely. If I don’t forget, I will add here.

Somebody told me a website should have a résumé somewhere for people trying to scout you.

The human mind thinks in stories and religion is arguably the most powerful story we ever created.

“The essence of the independent mind lies not in what it thinks, but how it thinks.” – CH

With all this screen time, it’s a miracle that I’ve managed to maintain a borderline social life.

For visual inspirations, Pinterest is my go-to. When boards become rich with pins, I share them here.

I am trying to follow the stock market and build financial analysis models. Work in progress.

Products I’ve built/building. Most of them are either private / currently in development. Will share soon.

Master directory of (mostly) everything  I’ve created from 2014 onwards. Don’t update anymore.
